Contract injection molder · 10th of Ramadan, Egypt

We mold the plastic parts your brand ships.

Tawplast is a contract plastic injection molding factory. OEMs and brands send us a drawing — we cut the tool, run the press and ship the parts. No retail line of our own.

Why Tawplast

Why brands tool their parts at Tawplast.

Forty years of molding for the names you already know — and the floor, the people and the QC to ship your part next.

Tawplast — your plastics partner.

  • 40 years on the floor

Four decades molding for automotive OEMs (General Motors, Hyundai, Suzuki) and European brands (Wilkinson, RSW — UK).

  • 80 to 650 tons

Press roster from 80 t to 650 t means any plastic part up to 3 kg — single shot, in-house.

  • 24 / 7 production

The plant runs three shifts, every day. Shortest possible cycle from order to delivery.

  • Engineering support

End-to-end: product DFM, mold design, mold making and validation — one team owns it.

  • More than molding

Full assembly and finishing lines so you receive a finished product, not a bag of parts.

  • Ship-direct QC

In-line SPC and final AQL inspection — cartons leave the factory ready to forward to your customer.

What we actually do

Eight services, one factory floor.

Tawplast is not a trading house. Tools, presses, assembly lines and QC are all under one roof in 10th of Ramadan — your part stays with one team from CAD to carton.

  • Product design & DFM

We review your CAD before steel is cut. Wall thickness, draft, gating and shrink — all flagged early to save mold revisions.

  • In-house mold making

Steel and aluminum tools, single and multi-cavity, designed and cut on our own CNC. Hot-runner systems on request.

  • Plastic injection — 80 to 650 t

    Press roster spans 80, 120, 180, 250, 350, 450 and 650 tons. Single-shot parts up to 3 kg in one cycle.

  • Engineering plastics

ABS, PP, HDPE, PS, PC, POM, PA6/PA66 with glass-fiber reinforcement, TPE/TPU and masterbatch colors.

  • Assembly & sub-assembly

Ultrasonic welding, insert molding, hot-stamping, screwed and snap-fit assembly lines next to the presses.

  • Decoration & finishing

Pad printing, IML, in-mold labels, painting and tampo for branded surface finishes.

  • Quality control

First-article inspection, SPC in-line, final AQL sampling and full lot traceability. Reports shipped with each batch.

  • Packing & logistics

Pack to your spec, palletize and ship FCA, FOB or DAP from Sokhna, Damietta or Alexandria.

What we do

Tooling, prototyping and production — under one roof.

Custom tooling

Single and multi-cavity steel and aluminum molds, designed in-house and validated with mold-flow simulation.

Rapid prototyping

Bridge tooling delivers first-shot parts in 5–10 working days, in the production resin.

On-demand production

Flexible runs from 500 to 500,000 parts on an 80–650 t press roster, with SPC and full lot traceability.

How a part gets made

From CAD file to crate.

  1. 01

    CAD review

DFM read of your model — draft, wall thickness, gates and shrink flagged before steel is cut.

  2. 02

    DFM + tooling

Mold design signed off, steel or aluminum cut in-house, mold-flow simulated on the production resin.

  3. 03

    T1 sampling

First-shot parts pulled on the production press, in the production material, shipped to you for review.

  4. 04

    Dimensional report

ISIR / PPAP-style report against your golden sample — CMM data, capability, sign-off.

  5. 05

    Serial run

Validated cycle, in-process SPC, lot traceability from pellet batch to shipped carton.

  6. 06

    Pack + ship

Packed to your spec, cleared through Sokhna, Damietta or Alexandria — door-to-door on request.

Problem

A cable gland arriving as body, nut and seal — three tools, three inspections, an assembly cell and a scrap rate nobody wanted to talk about.

Engineering move

A DFM pass merged the sealing petals into the body and moved the thread into the cavity. One tool, one shot, one part number.

Result

Assembly cell removed. Cost per unit fell with it, and the part now ships to two EU distributors on a rolling forecast.

Problem

Imported impellers arrived out of balance often enough that the OEM was weighting them by hand on the line.

Engineering move

Re-gated the tool to a centre hot drop, tuned pack pressure per blade, and locked the resin to a single PP-GF20 batch supplier.

Result

Balance held straight off the tool. The hand-weighting station was deleted from the customer's line.

Problem

Irrigation tees cracking within a season in the field — a warranty problem masquerading as a price problem.

Engineering move

Specified a UV-stabilised PP, thickened the barb root, and ran a heat-and-UV soak on T1 samples before serial release.

Result

Field returns effectively stopped. The line now runs continuous through the irrigation season on reserved press-hours.

Procurement sign-off

Everything a buyer needs to sign the PO.

The paperwork, guarantees and terms your sourcing team asks for — packaged with every program, not bolted on later.

  • Dimensional report

ISIR / PPAP-style first-article report with CMM data, gauge R&R, and capability indices per critical dimension.

  • Material certificates

Resin batch certificates and MSDS for every lot — traceable from pellet supplier to shipped carton.

  • Tooling ownership

You own the steel. Written custody terms, mold storage, and maintenance schedule signed at T1 approval.

  • Capacity guarantee

Press-hours reserved against a rolling forecast — your run doesn't queue behind a bigger customer.

  • Incoterms + port

FCA Cairo, FOB Sokhna / Damietta / Alexandria, or CIF to your EU / GCC destination — quoted at RFQ.

  • NDA + IP

Mutual NDA before CAD review. Your drawings, tooling design and part geometry never leave your program.

§ The promise

If it leaves the floor, it fits.

Six commitments we write into the program — and three we refuse to make, because factories that promise them are guessing.

We commit
  1. 01

    A tool you own

Steel cut in-house, custody in writing at T1, stored and maintained on a schedule you can audit.

  2. 02

    A quote from engineering

Priced off DFM, cycle and cavitation — not off a guess at what you'll accept.

  3. 03

    The date we gave you

Press-hours reserved against your forecast. If a date slips, you hear it from us first.

  4. 04

    Dimensions on paper

First-article report against your golden sample, then in-process SPC for the life of the program.

  5. 05

    One resin, one source

Material locked to a named supplier and batch-certified. No silent substitutions.

  6. 06

    Your drawing stays yours

Mutual NDA before CAD review. Geometry, tooling design and volumes never travel.

We won't pretend
  • A quote in an hour without seeing the geometry.
  • A tolerance we haven't held on this resin before.
  • A price that only works if you never re-order.
